Cost: CSE members: $70. Non-members: $90

About the course

This workshop is now FULL, but please join the waiting list, and if there is enough interest we will schedule a second one.

Do you use Microsoft Word for editing but suspect you’re not getting the most out of it? If so, then this tips-based online workshop is for you – it is designed to improve your knowledge of some of Word’s more advanced features and enhance your everyday practical skills.

Topics covered include customisation, the document map, templates and macros. You will be shown via screencasts from the presenter how to perform tasks and then invited to carry them out on your own computer.

As well as two hours of intensive, practical training in Word skills on your PC or Mac, you’ll receive:

  • a detailed handout containing screenshots tailored to your version of Word
  • a styles and macros template for your future use, and
  • a crib sheet of Word’s most useful keyboard shortcuts for editing.

Prerequisites: a computer with a fully functioning version of Word, and access to Zoom.

When: 7 November 2020, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (starting at 9:45 am)
Cost: $70 (CSE members); $90 (non-members)
