Professional Editors’ Guild of South Africa 30th Anniversary Conference (online)

CSE members are invited to attend

PEG has asked CSE to promote its 30th anniversary conference to members. The conference will be held online on 31 May and 1 June.

The theme is ‘Professional editing in the digital age’.

The PEG conference planning committee would love CSE members to attend.

In PEG’s words:

The conference will run from the afternoon of Wednesday, 31 May and throughout the day on Thursday, 1 June 2023. It will include many virtual networking and social opportunities, including post-conference activities in the evenings.

From a small informal group of editors intent on exchanging ideas about matters editorial, PEG has gone from strength to strength, with many achievements to celebrate, all in the service of its members.

Here are links to the conference programme [sic] and the registration page (note that the Early Bird date is 5 May).

On 1 June, CSE’s own Elizabeth Manning Murphy will be in conversation on the topic: ‘Looking backwards and forwards over 30+ years as a copy-editor.’

The PEG conference is a professional development and networking opportunity for CSE members.
