End-of-year CSE spectacular

Date: Wednesday 24 November 2021.
Venue: EQ Café and Lounge in the Equinox Business Park at 70 Kent St, Deakin and online via a Zoom webinar.
Registration: Required to attend in person – see details below.
Time: 6pm.
Don’t miss our end-of-year spectacular! This will feature nibbles, drinks and a fascinating speaker: award-winning author Graeme Simsion.

Graeme has written several delightful best-seller novels, including The Rosie Project series, The Best of Adam Sharp and, in collaboration with Anne Buist, Two Steps Forward and this year’s Two Steps Onward.

With some hasty post-lockdown footwork, we have secured a beautiful venue. You are welcome to join Graeme, and many of us, at the lovely EQ café to say a less-than-fond farewell to 2021. Drinks and canapés will be provided.

The event will also be livestreamed (tech gods willing), but we can’t wait to see a few faces attached to actual bodies and to clink a few glasses.

Graeme will be ‘in conversation’ with our new President, Nigel Brew, to talk about the writing process and being edited. It will be a relaxing and entertaining evening. We have capacity for 25, so please book now!

If you would like to suggest a question in advance for Graeme, you can submit it through the CSE website and Nigel will do his best to work it into the discussion. Just go to About > Contact Us and select President from the drop-down menu.
