About the course

This course is aimed at beginners, and will introduce the basics of Endnote, including:

  • creating an Endnote database (adding references manually and from an online source)
  • setting an output style (numbered or author–date, and the many variations of those styles)
  • applying and updating references
  • common problems and how to avoid or fix them.

Dr Hilary Cadman has worked internationally as a scientist, university lecturer and technical editor (both in-house and freelance). She now works as a freelance technical editor and trainer (and B&B owner). Hilary is passionate about finding better ways to work on and in her business.
