Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours, thesis entitled Bicameralism in Queensland – Past Failures, Future Solutions? (1994); Doctor of Philosophy, thesis entitled Crises, Deadlocks and Dissolutions – A Constitutional and Parliamentary History of Queensland 1859 to 1922 Vol I (1998); sole researcher, writer and adviser to the (late) Thuringowa City Council’s Review of Electoral Boundaries (1998); sole researcher, writer and editor of The 50th Anniversary of the Cootharinga Society (2001); editor and co-author of The Clarke Review of Veterans’ Entitlements, 3Vols (2003); officer with principal carriage of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs response to The Uhrig Review into Corporate Governance in  Commonwealth Statutory Authorities (2005/06); senior policy adviser, writer and editor on the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA’s) Review of the Rehabilitation Appliances Program National Schedule of Equipment and National Guidelines (2008 & 2014 – Australia Day Award recipient for the latter); assistant director, researcher, writer and editor on DVA’s Rehabilitation Review Project (2014).

My revised doctoral thesis is pending publication in 2017 by  Austin Macauley Publishers, London.

I have also published articles and a book review in three different academic journals (full resume available on request). My online business established after my retirement from the Australian Public Service is called Wizard Wordsmith (wizardwordsmith.com).

Qualifications

First class honours degree (1994) and Doctor of Philosophy (1998) in political science and constitutional history
