Two members of the Canberra Society of Editors are in the shortlists for the ACT Notable Book Awards. The winners will be announced on 29 June.
One is Helen Topor, whose memoir Neither King nor Saint is shortlisted in the Non-Fiction category. At our February general meeting, Helen talked about this memoir and her experience of the self-publishing process.
The other is Maurice Nevile, whose book Translating Loss: A haiku collection is shortlisted in the Poetry category.
We congratulate them for this recognition and we’ll be eagerly awaiting the final outcomes!
