A comma-dy cabaret for anyone who loves grammar a bit too much.

A special online performance of Louisa Fitzhardinge’s hit comedy show.

Louisa’s found true love in the English language, but it’s hard being a
grammar nerd when there are people selling ‘potato’s’ and misusing the word
‘literally’ at every turn. All she really wants is someone who’ll snuggle up
with her on the couch and seductively whisper puns into her ear. Ideally in
multiple languages. Is that too much to ask?

Featuring a host of original songs, Comma Sutra explores what it means to be
a language nerd in an age of text speak and emoji. Improvised poetry,
wickedly funny grammar lessons and rants about quotation marks are all part
of Louisa’s journey towards discovering why she is so smitten with the
written.

It’s nerdy. It’s pun filled. And it might just make you want to learn a
language … or at least start erasing those damn stray apostrophes on café
blackboards.

‘A grammar nerd’s dream show … truly impressive’ — Herald Sun

‘Echoes of Tim Minchin’s self-aware and nerdy snarky style and Eddie Izzard’s quick code-switching’ — Crikey

Louisa Fitzhardinge is an award-nominated actor, comedian and grammar nerd.
Comma Sutra, her critically acclaimed debut solo show, has enjoyed sold-out
runs across Australia, and was nominated for Best Cabaret at Perth Fringe
World. In Louisa’s spare time she collects languages. Semi-fluent in German
and Auslan, she has dabbled in French, Italian and Spanish and is now
tackling Danish.

Louisa will be accompanied by Greg Lavell. The show is produced by Carrie
Hardie of Serious Comedy.
