Light refreshments before and after; all welcome

Want to figure out how to carve out more time in your work day? How to be more efficient? How to be a bit more organised? If you missed out on the freelancing panel at the IPEd conference last year, this session will allow you to pick Marisa’s brain about all things freelancing so you can use the tips and tricks that will work for you. You can also chat to her about mentoring writers.

Marisa Wikramanayake is a freelance editor and journalist, transplanted to Melbourne, and an author. She first got published at 17 and has edited award winning books forĀ  authors and been shortlisted for both her creative writing and journalism. She is currently a federal delegate for freelancers for the MEAA and has previously organised the Perth based IPEd conference. As per editing requirements she has a cat named Trouble.
