Three of Canberra’s eminent editors will share their experiences of starting an editing business and what they see as the main challenges facing freelance editors today.

Janet Salisbury, Virginia Wilton and Louise Forster are highly regarded editors who have been running their businesses for many years.

Janet will focus on changes in government procurement procedures.

Virginia will reflect on 15 years of experience of being in an editing business
Louise will discuss the personal qualities—especially resilience—that help a good editor run a successful business.

Be prepared to ask questions about some of the issues around being a freelance editor.
