- Editing—Edit from draft to final presentation on any topic. Coordinate work of multiple authors. Edit university theses according to ethical guidelines, papers for journals, reports etc. Liaise with printers and designers.
- Other services—Edit translations to improve sense in English. Carry out issues research and analysis. Writing in English tuition.
- Subject fields—Forestry, ecology, catchment hydrology, energy analysis, rangeland management and other life sciences - with proven competence to edit much more broadly, in fact in any topic!
- Media—Conference proceedings, reports, books, theses, journal papers, brochures, presentations, resumes.
Specific projects
Career as forester and ecologist including 24 years with CSIRO. Editor since 1991. Author or co-author of more than 50 papers and reports. As well as specialty fields, I have edited topics as diverse as psychology of learning, symbolism in music, control of robots, team learning, lying in society, data cluster analysis, remote sensing, and tourism.
Word processing, tabulation and graphic representation using Oracle Open Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, plus experienced with Lotus Smartsuite, MS Office, Symphony. Interested in using 'cloud' applications such as Acrobat.com, and developing skills in Adobe InCopy for streamlined interaction with InDesign.
